Millions of sardines are grouped off the Pacific coast of Baja California South, attracting predators chasing them — sea lions, dolphins, and seabirds in full hunting. An open group snorkeling expedition to see it closely.

Day 1

Your exclusive arrival in La Paz

You land in La Paz and the sea is already waiting for you. We pick you up at 4pm and take you straight to your home for the next 5 days: the camp that will be your base to live one of the most incredible shows in the ocean.

Day 2

First contact

Today you head out into the Sea of Cortez in search of one of the planet’s most spectacular natural phenomena: thousands of sardines moving as one, pursued by dolphins, sea lions and diving seabirds.

Crazy Summer isn't a trip. It's a change of frequency. From daily chaos to the calm of the Sea of Cortez, from the adrenaline of the Pacific waves to the stillness of the skies without artificial light. Mau and Jaime take them through the most authentic corners of Baja California Sur — deserted beaches, wild islands, villages with souls — with the promise that they will return as others.

Arrival in La Paz

Your exclusive arrival. Mau and Jaime welcome them with open arms. They tour the Malecón with the Sea of Cortez in the background, have dinner with a view of the sea and settle in the base city of the expedition.

Balandra Beach + Paddleboard

Hike on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, turquoise waters and landscapes from another planet. In the afternoon, paddleboarding in the Gulf of California exploring the coast from the water.

Free Day in La Ventana + Astronomy Workshop

A day to recharge. Pool, sand, Sea of Cortez. As the night fell with a total new moon, we entered the desert to see the Milky Way with your own eyes.

Epic Safari in La Ventana

Navigation in search of gray whales, humpbacks and dolphins jumping. In the afternoon, camp on the island under the stars with the sound of the Gulf as the only company.

Second day in open sea squeezing until the last moment in the water. At noon, set up camp and return to La Paz.

Your first time breathing underwater in the Sea of Cortez. No prior experience required. Then, spearfishing from the shore and nailed from the rocks for those who want more adrenaline.
