WITH GORRA · USSEA, LAND AND EVERYTHING THAT CONNECTS US

The people behind the expedition

Some places
change you.

We’re Mau and Jaime. We created Con Gorra to share what we find when we head outdoors: a close connection with nature that stays with you long after the trip.

THE IDEA THAT COMES WITH US

Step
outside. Reconnect.

Our backgrounds are in marine biology and architecture, but we share a curiosity about how we relate to the places we inhabit. Con Gorra brings those two perspectives together and turns them into an adventure.

We like to think that knowing a place can also change your way of being in it. Entering the water, observing and sharing the path are ways to start that connection.

Mau

Mauricio López · Marine biologist

The sea is part of its formation and its trajectory. Mau is a marine biologist and has led more than 200 expeditions: experiences that bring people into contact with natural life.

His gaze brings to Con Capra the knowledge of those who have been exploring the ocean for years. Biology is present in our way of approaching ecosystems and sharing what we find along the way.

THE PARTY POINT

To know the life that surrounds us to learn to value it.

Our mission

Travel that inspires
us to care.

THE GORRA MISSION

We want to create experiences that change lives and make tourism a force for conservation, inspiring the people who travel with us to value and protect the ecosystems that sustain us.

Let the adventure continue in the way we look at, inhabit, and care for the world when we return.

Jaime · With Cap Expeditions

Jaime sees Con Gorra as a way of putting into practice a conviction: to learn to live as part of nature.

Its formation in architecture accompanies that look, attentive to how we inhabit the places and relate to our environment. From Con Gorra, it seeks to create trips that change our way of looking: enter the water, tour a landscape and discover the life that inhabits it.

The intention is for that connection to continue with us as we return. That taking care of nature is born of knowing it and feeling part of it.

“Living as part of the world,
not above it.”
